I bought this Mat as a gift for my friend who is travelling to Mecca this week. I thought it would be nice for her to have something to use there and bring home to remember when she uses it at home. It was light enough to pack in her luggage.
I took a chance on the colour, but she loved it and liked the silky feel very much. I will ask more about it when she comes home.
On the practical side - it arrived very quickly and in great condition.
For the record, I am not of the Islam faith, so cannot make any judgements other than it looks beautiful and it made my friend happy.
